UK Health Experts: "Vaping Is Not Toxic".

The debate is finally over. Public Health England have released a report that shows that vaping is fundamentally not toxic. Yes there is some risk, but it's very minimal and significantly healthier for you than smoking.

To those who have been in the vaping community for some time now, this does seem like nothing new. However, this new study from the Committee on Toxicity of Chemicals In Food, Consumer Products and the Environment (COT for short), was commissioned by Public Health England, the same organization that famously concluded that vaping is 95% safer than smoking.

This report follows after the COT have sifted through untold numbers of scientific studies, including those from both anti and pro-vape sides.

So what does the study say? Obviously you could check the study out for yourself, but if you're feeling lazy and you just want the summary, here it is for you!

Main Points

  • There is no real risk to vaporising PG present in E-Liquids
  • There is no real risk to vaporising VG present in E-Liquids
  • There is zero risk to bystanders for "passive vaping"
  • The risk of using nicotine in E-Liquid is very minimal

Hopefully this will be another nail in the coffin of these fear-mongering Anti Vape campaigns that're fueled by disinformation and monetary gain from Big Tobacco.

For those that're still on the fence about taking up vaping to quit smoking, we suggest that you research as much as you can, and get your information from reputable sources (not from social media!)

Supergood will always maintain that vaping is a far healthier alternative to smoking traditional cigarettes, but we recognise that isn't entirely risk-free. But the science and evidence is solid and very positive toward the beneficial effects of vaping.

But stay informed, stay educated, and stay safe.

Love, Supergood.
