New Zealand praised for progressive vape regulations.
New New Zealand vaping regulations look “positive and pragmatic”, says NZ vaping giant Vapo.
They go on to add that it would be a mistake to regulate vaping and smoking along the same lines, as vaping has proven itself to be the world’s most effective smoking cessation tool.
VAPO and Alt New Zealand are concerned about the proposal to ban sweetness in e-liquids, for two reasons.
- Almost all vaping E-liquid contains sweetness in their base concentrates
- There’s no scientific grounds to blanket ban all sweeteners.
This is along the same vein as limiting flavours, which has always been a sticking point for a lot of the vaping community since it was proposed.
The two major players in the New Zealand vaping world will offer specific feedback on the drafts before March 15th, as well as strongly encouraging consumers and others in the industry to do the same.
